Decorate-a-door Competition

It certainly is a Christmas with a difference this year.. and it’s no different at school. This year having a base classroom for the first time has allowed for great teamwork and creativity. For Christmas each class group has decorated their door in the hopes of winning the Decorate-a-door competition. The competition is heating up and the classes are outdoing each other each day… with a week to judging the pressure is on ..,, Watch this Space …. don’t forget each member of the class must be represented on the door

***Update ***

Well we were blown away by the creativity, teamwork and festive spirit shown by all of our students and staff in a year where the magic of Christmas is needed more than ever !! Fr O Dea is in the building for the judging … what a task he has ahead of him. Have you a favourite ??

Christmas Cake

Festive cakes and bakes were the order of the day with Hazelwood College’s LCA 6 & TY’s Home Economics students. Whipping up some festive cheer was easy as students presented their show-stopping fruit cakes topped with marizpan and royal icing along with rich chocolate biscuit cake puddings.
