Minor Ladies Football
Well done to our Minor Football team who got their Munster Campaign off to a great start with a win over neighbours SMI this morning. There was fantastic skill and teamwork to be seen throughout the match and we look forward to seeing what the season brings for this talented group
Donkey Sanctuary
Our 6th Year LCVP students visited the Donkey Sanctuary Monday 19th January and proudly adopted a 3 and half year old donkey called JoJo. The donkey Sanctuary are always accepting donations to continue their hard work.
u16 Basketball
Hard luck to our U16 basketball team who put up a great fight today in the all Ireland quarter final play offs in Bandon. A fantastic group of girls who are brilliant role models in the school
MUNSTER FINAL BOUND
What an amazing win by our junior ladies!
A nail biting game from the very beginning! Led by our amazing captain Abbie Walsh the girls never gave up fighting to the very last second
At half time the girls were down 1 point but they didn’t let that stop them when five minutes into the second half Lisa Murphy hit the back of the net! It was point for point after that until 6 minutes to go when the girls found themselves 3 points down. A free from Doireann O Leary soon put that difference to 2! We could hardly watch as the girls tryed to claw back the 2 points when the hero of the day Amy O Kelly rattled the net to give us a 1 point lead going into the final minute!! It wasn’t over yet as Cashel got a last second 45, as that went wide the final whistle blew and we had secured our spot in the Munster Plate Final vs Carrick on Suir
Special Mention to our Super goalie Aisling Moynihan who made some unbelievable saves and who we wouldn’t be here without! Final score 3-6 to 3-5 – First half goal from Nicole Reidy

A great sporting game today against Mungret Community College, with our girls showing fantastic teamwork, determination, and skill throughout.
Our 2nd Years led the way in the first half, setting the tone, while the 1st Years took over in the second half to bring the win home
