Shoe Box Appeal

This year our 1st year students took part in the annual Shoe box collection gathering boxes from our own school as well as those from the local community, the primary and the playschool. On Thursday 14th November, 14 of those students were lucky enough to travel to Mountcollins to help out sorting the boxes and helping ensure they were in perfect condition ready for transport to this years destination which is Romania . Thanks to all who kindly took part in this years collection and to all the volunteers in Mountcollins who made the experience so informative and enjoyable.

A special day being involved in making a difference for those less fortunate. A busy day today for first years preparing the shoe boxes for the next step of their journey to the warehouse to be shipped. Well done to all students and families , members of the local community and local primary schools for putting together a total of 173 shoe boxes. #teamhopeshoeboxappeal
