Student Enterprise Marketplace

Hazelwood College was buzzing with creativity and entrepreneurial spirit on Tuesday 27th January as all Transition Year students took part in the Student Enterprise Marketplace. The event saw students set up their own businesses and trade with fellow students, staff, and local primary school pupils, showcasing months of hard work, innovation, and teamwork.

The standard on the day was outstanding, making judging a real challenge. Glow Guard took home the Overall Winner award, with Boost Bites named Runner-Up. Other winners included Refreshener (Most Innovative), Wag and Wear (Best Business Plan), Back to Bronze (Best Display), Calm Kiss (Most Sustainable), and Sliothar Stimulator (Best Marketing).

It was an incredible day that highlighted the talent, creativity, and ambition of our Transition Year students. A huge well done to everyone involved in making the marketplace such a memorable success

Limerick Student Enterprise Awards

What a day at the Limerick Student Enterprise Awards yesterday where Quaid Candles, Cene Letter Art, JBM Sports and The Cruelty Free Chocolate Company did a fantastic job. Congrats to Chloe, Evelyne, Nikita and Ellen on being awarded the Best Marketing Award. However, the icing on the cake was when first year student Evan Quaid was announced as the winner of the Junior Category. A fantastic achievement! Evan now heads to Dublin to represent Limerick in the National Finals in May. Watch this space!
