We were delighted to welcome Shane and Kahlin from Treaty United to school today for a training session with our soccer Munster Champions ahead of their All Ireland semi final against Blessington College next week.
It was fantastic to see our own students and Treaty players Robbie Lynch and Katie Lawlee out on the pitch sharing their expertise. A fantastic opportunity for the boys to find tune their skills and to show off some of their own silverware.
It wasn’t to be for our 1st year boys soccer team today who came up short against a strong St Caimin’s side in the semi final of the North Munster League.

Our Junior Camogie team got #womeninsportweek off to a fantastic start Having drawn with Laurel Hill Cólaiste last week, the replay took place this morning.
Our girls showed immense courage, determination and team work to secure victory with a scoreline of 1-15 to 2-4.
Both games were played in very challenging conditions, rain throughout and even hailstones at times! Hazelwood showed they had an extra gear today and pulled away from the opposition in the second half. Every player on the panel worked extremely hard and some fantatsic scores were seen. The girls now face Hospital in the Division 1 County semi final.
Thanks to Newtownshandrum for the loan of their jerseys
Under 15 North Munster Final Here We Come!! Another great win for our under 15s soccer team today who beat a very good John the Baptist Community School Team on a scoreline of 2-0. The standard of soccer throughout this game from both teams was extraordinary considering the conditions. Goals scored by Olly Stokes and Noah Finn..
We now look forward to the North Munster League Final as well and the Munster Cup Final
