Join us for a Park Run!!!!
Everyone Welcome !
Thanks to Denis Fitzgerald and Ruth O’Mahony from Parkrun Newcastle West who came to talk about volunteering and parkrun to the 5th LCVP class. These students are volunteering in Newcastle West on Saturday 19th May. Runners, joggers, walkers are all welcome.

The very best of luck to our young entrepreneur, Evan Quaid as he represents Hazelwood at the National Finals of the Student Enterprise Awards in Dublin. He is all set up and ready to go.

Rehearsals are continuing today for tonight’s Annual Variety Show. In keeping with years break from tradition, shows this year are full performances rather that the 50/50 variety show/musical mix of the past.
Here is a quick sneak peak:

Great to see our students keeping good company. Second year student Edward O Connor had the honour of catching up with President Michael D Higgins at Liscarroll Races recently.

What a day at the Limerick Student Enterprise Awards yesterday where Quaid Candles, Cene Letter Art, JBM Sports and The Cruelty Free Chocolate Company did a fantastic job. Congrats to Chloe, Evelyne, Nikita and Ellen on being awarded the Best Marketing Award. However, the icing on the cake was when first year student Evan Quaid was announced as the winner of the Junior Category. A fantastic achievement! Evan now heads to Dublin to represent Limerick in the National Finals in May. Watch this space!
