Our 6th Year LCVP students visited the Donkey Sanctuary Monday 19th January and proudly adopted a 3 and half year old donkey called JoJo. The donkey Sanctuary are always accepting donations to continue their hard work.

Donkey Santuary Visit
Hazelwood College 3C C.S.P.E. class are pictured here at The Donkey Sanctuary, Liscarroll, recently, where the students visited in order to learn about animal rights. As part of their action project, students learned about how The Donkey Sanctuary helps animals who have been mistreated and under the supervision of their teacher, Ms Julie Corkery, engaged in a food drive to help to meet the feed needs of the animals in the shelter.

Hazelwood College Leaving Certificate Applied II students visit Liscarroll Donkey Sanctuary as part of their LCA II Contemporary Issues task, where students focused on the issue of animal cruelty. In Liscarroll Donkey Sanctuary, students were able to see the efforts put into bringing the animals housed there back to health.
