We have been very busy over the last few weeks with fundraising activities locally. These activities included our 27th Annual 45 Card Night held on Good Friday,in Hazelwood College. This proved to be a great success once again. It offers entertainment to many who wish to play cards, and of course an opportunity to win some cash on the night. We had 27 tables , spot prizes galore and refreshments which followed on the night. Congratulations to all those who won.

Our next big event was our very successful 5K Fun Run/Walk held once again in Hazelwood College Sunday 19th April last. This was also a huge success which was aided by glorious sunshine. We had runners/walkers taking part on the day and refreshments were served following this event.

Bag packing was also included among our activities in the last few weeks.

Annual Spring National Parents Council Educational Seminar : Parents/Guardians of Hazelwood College were invited to a free Educational Seminar held in the Strand Hotel Limerick recently topics included Internet Safety/ Cyberbulling and information on University admissions scheme on reduced points systems.

We would like to take this opportunity in thanking Principal Mr Brendan Burke and his entire staff of Hazelwood College for all their assistance and participation with regards these events. It was great to see so many staff out running on the day.

We also wish to thank the local businesses for their support and sponsorship towards our fundraising events. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Hazelwood College is the sole provider of second level education in this area, and all money raised is used to add value to the education already provided by the college.
