Winning Snap Shot
Budding young photographer Keith Coughlan a second year student in Hazelwood College, Dromcollogher was recently announced as one of six winners in the West Limerick Tourism Schools Photography Competition. The prize giving event was held in the Woodlands House Hotel, Adare on Thursday 8th November last. This competition encouraged students to look around and identify all that is positive and attractive about West Limerick and to capture these images in order to raise the profile of tourism in West Limerick. Keith received an iPod Nano for his winning photograph in the Landscape – Natural & Built category. A series of Keith’s creative photographs were digitally shown in school the following morning for all his fellow students and teachers to admire . Hazelwood College were delighted with Keith’s success and look forward to his future photographic endeavours.
