Hard luck to the U17’s who had a loss today in the first round of the North Munster League against Crescent Comprehensive. We unfortunately got off to a slow start and were quickly 3-0 down.
Hazelwood fought hard, reorganised and took control of the game. It was 4-2 going into halftime with confidence high for the second half.
Unfortunately lady luck left us again and despite dominating large periods of the second half we could not find the back of the net. We hit the woodwork a couple times and had a number of near misses. The 2nd half ended in stalemate, final score on the day was 4-2.
Well done to everyone who left everything on the pitch despite the tired legs, a number playing their 2nd match in just over 12 hours.
