Shoebox Santa Appeal
Hazelwood College’s Leaving Certificate Applied I group assist the Shoebox Santa Appeal in packing. The group gave up their time to travel to the Annacotty Industrial Estate and to pack the shoe boxes, which are designed to meet the basic practical needs of disadvantaged children in countries in Africa and in poor parts of Eastern Europe, as well as to offer them small gifts. The visit was organised by Hazelwood College’s Religion Department as part of their LCA Services in the Community module.
