All-Ireland successes for Hazelwood College, Dromcollogher

The camogie girls of Hazelwood got off the weekend to a flying start blitzing the opposition, St. Paul’s of Kilrea in a final scoreline of 5-15 to no score. This was an historic achievement by the girls and all involved can be immensely proud. Congratulations to everyone on a magnificent success.
On Sunday saw the turn of the Senior Boys B side, who, not to be outdone by the ladies, also created College history by winning the All-Ireland Vocational Colleges Senior Hurling B Final. Two goals in three minutes from Hazelwood College seized an historic win. Playing Duiske Grennan College, Kilkenny, who got off to a flying start but were soon stopped in thier tracks by a much superior team with Hazelwood College emerging victorious on a scoreline of 4-13 to 2-9.
